Heavenly Dreams

This collection features light colors mainly ivory, nudes, pale pinks, champagne colors, with silver and pearl accents. The fabrics are going to be sheer mesh, silk charmeuse, silk jersey, chiffons, sheer lightweight stretch fabrics, and of course lace.  These fabrics reflect the mood of the line which is going to be soft, elegant, lightweight and airy, but still sleek contoured fitting garments yet still having that lingerie sex appeal look. This theme reflects my dreams of my final destination, which is for my spirit to be enjoying afterlife in heaven.  Heaven is a place everyone wants to be blessed to see and experience after living their life to the fullest.  It is a place of relaxation, extreme happiness and bliss, and ecstasy. Its image is appeared to be a utopian paradise full of white clouds which give off an airy atmosphere, spiritual angels, pearly gates at the entrance, luxurious and glorious.  Who would not want to go there?  My intimate line will become so personal that it will take you to that enchanting place we all dream about, heaven.

As a young child Genese's aunt encouraged her to pursue fashion design because it fit her personality. She graduated from Freeport High School with a taste for design and fashion illustration. Her technical skills were honed at the Fashion Institute of Technology where she her creative skills were matched with challenges of construction. "It gives me such great satisfaction to see my creation, my designs come to life where I can look, touch, feel, wear, and show off my work in which I spent my hard earned time." Her philiosphy is that design take a lot of time, effort, and dedication, and that in the end it proves worthwhile.
