Between the Sheets sparked to life in May 2005. This event shows what can be accomplished as a group: jaw-dropping design, a classy taste of the seductive, and an underground appeal with a mainstream attitude. Since its first year Between the Sheets has been turning heads. Founder and event coordinator, Layla L'obatti, declared from the first show, Between the Sheets would carry on to launch student designers and hopefully grow to be a must see New York event. From the first show until now the BTS has kept it's edgy appeal with student talent and a young fresh take on fashion meant to be worn Between the Sheets. Typically reserved boudoir creations hit the runway of a New York hotspot, and the not so typical fashion crowd roar the feedback.
